Christmas Mission 2020

Our volunteers worked tirelessly over the Christmas period to provide food for our community of Widows there. We wanted to provide a little food security for all our clients during this difficult time and we managed to not only provide everyone with a meal but some extra cash to keep them safe and fed over the Christmas period. 

We collected enough rice, oil, meggi and salt for each of our clients to take enough for a meal home with them. We were also able to provide a live chicken for one of our widows to raise! We were so excited to offer this opportunity to our clients and to give each of them a little bit of security and strength this Christmas. 

During the festival season, more than 150 widows in Lagos state reached out to us for support for Christmas food items like rice, chicken, etc. due to the geographic location of all the widows from the different locations we decided to award a cash sum amount of N6000 to enable them to buy food for their celebration.
All widows that received a cash sum were very excited and overwhelmed, receiving a cash sum from a charity like ours.
